Tell us about yourself and how you made your way to PairTree?

We have been on a long Adoption journey. We are very excited about the opportunity to become parents. We have tried fertility treatments but unfortunately they did not work for us. The reason we came to pairtree was to expand Search for a birth mom..

What has surprised you about this process – good and/or bad?

What surprised us about the adoption process is all the resources out there. There are so many Options to help you advertise for birth moms.

What do you think is misunderstood about adoption?

Adopting a child will never be the same as having a biological child. The way we view it what does it make your family loved us. That child will not be just our adopted child it is our child. We will tell the child that yes you came to us in a different way but you were always meant to be with us.

Who are your biggest supporters? Who can you always turn to?

Our friends and family are our biggest supporters. Our parents cannot wait to be grandparents.

Do you have a favorite quote or mantra?

Our favorite quote is from this is us it’s the scene where the doctor is speaking to Jack about adopting Randall and the quote was going to take the Sourest lemons And make something resembling lemonade.

How often do you cry? (Seriously…)

Treasure is a crier when I watch lifetime movies I tear up and my Christmas movies I get teary-eyed. Steven will tear up once in a while the most memorable cry for him was the first time he saw Garth brooks in concert

What you are most proud of – so far – in this process?

We are just proud to be Homestudy approved and honored for people looking at our profile

What scares you the most about this process — and why?

The most thing we’re scared about is just not getting picked we want to be parents In the worst way.

If you had a magic wand, what would you like to change most about this process?

If we had a magic wand we would change it so everyone who wants to be a parent would have a chance. Answer and it’s got a put the pictures
